How to Install Your eSIM

Step-by-step guide for iOS and Android devices

iPhone

  1. Open the email with your eSIM or go to My eSIMs in your account.
  2. Go to Settings > Mobile Data (Cellular) > Add eSIM > Use QR Code and scan the code. On iOS 17.4+ you can also tap the "Install on iPhone" button.
  3. Label the line (for example "ElyRoam") and choose your primary line for calls.
  4. Under Mobile Data, select the ElyRoam line and turn on Data Roaming for it.

Android

  1. Go to Settings > Connections (Network & Internet) > SIM manager > Add eSIM.
  2. Scan the QR code, or choose "Enter activation code" and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code.
  3. Turn on the eSIM, set it as the mobile data SIM and enable roaming.

Tip: install before you travel while you have Wi-Fi, and keep the eSIM on your phone until your plan ends.
